Rainy Start to the Week for Delhi NCR
Delhi woke up to a rainy morning today, with moderate showers lashing many parts of NCR — just as forecast.
However, rainfall was unevenly distributed: Palam recorded 17 mm, while Safdarjung saw less than 1 mm. Pusa led with 26 mm.
Despite scattered distribution, more rain is expected in the days ahead.
FORECAST FOR DAYS AHEAD:
- Light to moderate rain likely till July 31
- Sharp and speedy showers possible on July 29, 30 and 31
- Rain intensity and spread to decrease gradually from August 1 onward
Rainfall Update:
- Highest 24-hour total recorded at Pusa: 26 mm
- Other stations like Ayanagar and Salwan School observed double-digit rainfall
Temperature Forecast:
- Max temperatures to remain in the low 30s (around 31–33°C)
- No significant heat spike expected through the week
