East India to go dry, temperature to increase

West Bengal and Bihar received normal rainfall until now during this pre Monsoon season. Rain and thundershower activities are going on over the eastern parts of the country in last few days but the intense rainfall which was anticipated remained absent in comparison to Northwest India

Now also, we do not expect any significant weather activity over East India. Weather of most parts of East India including East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will go dry as no significant weather system over eastern part of the country. By next week, dry and hot weather conditions once again will be observed.

Monsoon usually reaches Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim by June 10 and gradually covers many parts of East India by June 15. The onset of Monsoon seems to be a little delayed, therefore there are chances of delay over eastern parts of the country as well but we have to wait and see how things unfold.
