The states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh are all set to see a comeback of heat wave conditions, starting April 28 until the end of the month. Moreover, temperatures are expected to be shooting above 43 degrees. The state of Rajasthan may see maximums above 45 degrees Celsius as well.

Yesterday itself, Barmer recorded its maximum at 45.1 degrees, Jaisalmer at 44.4 degrees, Banda 44.2 degrees, Aligarh 42 degrees, and Bikaner 44.1 degrees.

These heat wave conditions will last until the end of this month with sultry conditions affecting the residents of North India. However, heat wave conditions may see a backseat in the beginning of May.

In fact, April 30 onward, a Western Disturbance will approach resulting in some rains over the Northern Plains around the first week of May. Some relief will be seen during this time.
