Uttarakhand may receive moderate to heavy rain in next 2 days, but the rain will persist over many parts of Uttar Pradesh until September 17.

This low-pressure area will pull the axis of monsoon trough over Indo Gangetic plains. Therefore, rain will continue over Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh for another two days.

The low pressure area developed over North Bay of Bengal has traveled presented parts of the country and will now impact northwest central and east India.
