The state of Kerala has been witnessing good amounts of Pre Monsoon activities so far. The state has seen double the rainfall at 97 percent excess rains.
Starting today, the state of Kerala may see some light rainfall activity, at the most moderate in some pockets for at least the next three days. Thereafter, rains will become fairly widespread in nature with some parts seeing heavy showers as well.
These rainfall activities are expected to continue for the coming week. These rains are in view of the oscillation of the wind discontinuity running from Central parts to Peninsular India. Moreover, a Circulation is also near Sri Lanka coast which will further result in more rains over the region.
