Mumbai rains all set to increase soon

The city of Mumbai has not seen an incredible month of September so far. There has been once that the city saw a whopping 94 mm of rains, recorded on 4th morning. Otherwise, rains have been light only and patchy in nature.

Now, rainfall activities will increase on two accounts. One feature being the Cyclonic Circulation over Kerala and Karnataka region, which is shifting upward towards Konkan and Goa region. Along with this, a low Pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal, its circulation is shifting towards Maharashtra region.

The combined influence of these two systems will result in some rainy days over Mumbai and adjoining areas between September 7 and 13. These rains will be on the moderate side with one odd heavy showers on September 8 and 9. Heavy showers may be seen on september 10 and 12 wherein some breaks will be seen in between. Showers will thereby become moderate around September 13 and 14.
