The state of Gujarat has been witnessing dry weather conditions with rainfall activity being far away from the region.
The state of Gujarat is expected to see some rains starting today These showers will be seen today, tomorrow and day after tomorrow. Cities of Surat, Vapi, Valsad, Mahuva, Veraval and parts of Kutch and central parts of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara will be seeing rains. In fact, parts of South Gujarat may see rains for the next four to five days.
These showers are attributed to the winds coming from the system in the Bay of Bengal. Along with this, the Anti Cyclone over rajasthan has anti cyclonic winds and the Cyclonic Circulation over Bay of Bengal, has resulted in a confluence zone.
Cities of South Gujarat will see rains on a continuous basis. North Gujarat, Kutch and other parts of Saurashtra which are next to Gulf of Kutch including Jamnagar, Rajkot and Porbandar may not see rains.
