Spot Black Pepper prices at Kochi market topped Rs 600 per kg on strong demand amid tight supply. Arrivals continued to be thin at Kochi market. There was strong demand from upcountry buyers. On spot prices moved up by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 60000 (ungarbled) and Rs 62000 (garbled). Export prices stayed much above Rs 10000 per tonne.
