As per the estimates of Agriculture Ministry, Indian rice production has been pegged at 106 million tonnes for 2014-2015 year. India has estimated 261 million tonnes of the food grains output during the 2014-2015 fiscal year period, according to Indian minister of state for agriculture and food processing industries.
