Hotel room rates are less, the venue has low booking prices and due to less weddings every one including the decorators, and caterers, photographers and make-up artists are easily available.
Attire
We know Indian lehengas are incomplete without heavy jewellery and attires, but since you have planned a Monsoon wedding for yourself you must ensure that you buy light weight fabrics. Also, wearing bright colours will complement the weather. For grooms, instead of going for a heavy weight sherwani, you could try out a bright coloured wedding attire made by a lighter fabric.
Make Up
During this annoying season, bridal make up usually melts away due to the humid conditions. Thus the idea is to use waterproof make up. Even when you are applying a blush or shadow, make sure you do not use any cream based stuff. Try to put your hair up as a bun, which is certainly the best option for a rainy day. You never know when your hair will turn frizzy and result into something hideous.
