Yes, summer is here and temperatures are rising across the country!

From witnessing record-low maximum temperature of 19°C on March 15, Delhi has now crossed the 35 degree mark and still counting. On Friday, Delhi will recorded 36°C as maximum. Maximums in Punjab and Haryana are in lower thirties. Similar conditions likely to prevail at least for next 48 hours.

Northeast India will be the only part of the country to receive some scattered but light rainfall on Friday.

Meanwhile, pockets of west Rajasthan and north Gujarat are witnessing severe heat wave conditions. Deesa, Ahmedabad and many other places will record temperatures above 40 degrees.

Places Ratnagiri, Satara, Nagpur, Bhopal in Central India are experiencing extremely warm weather. Day temperatures in Mumbai have been settling 5-8 degrees above the monthly average of 32°C. The night temperatures are also a couple of degrees high.

Temperatures are soaring in Rayalseema and Telangana as well. Peninsular India is witnessing pre-monsoon conditions. Kurnool Anantapur, Tirupati and Hyderabad are witnessing scorching temperatures.
