Weather Forecast for February 11: Snowfall over Jammu Kashmir, Rain in North India and Rajasthan

Winter chill will be missing from the northern plains for the next few days. The hills could get some rain and snow… Here’s a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow across the country.

The Western Disturbance lying over Jammu and Kashmir region will continue to bring some rain and snow over the hilly states of North India.

The induced cyclonic circulation will affect the foothills of Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan. Delhi will possibly witness partly cloudy skies.

There is a feeble cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and adjoining Odisha region with a trough extending from Sub Himalayan West Bengal to North Coastal Odisha.

The cyclonic circulation over here will bring light scattered rains over the upper states of Northeast India. Rainfall will follow a reducing rend now.

The anti-cyclone over here has become a semi-permanent feature. Accordingly, most parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will remain warm and dry.

The cyclonic circulation over Comorin area with a trough extending along the west coast upto South Karnataka will bring light scattered rains over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka.

The low pressure area over Southeast and adjoining South Bay of Bengal will rainfall over the Bay islands. It’s a slow moving system and will cause most of the activity over the sea for the time being. It will gradually move westwards and by the 14th it will bring good showers over Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu coast.

Minimum are settling in double digits in the northern plains. Tomorrow Delhi will record 11°C as minimum. Day temperature in Lucknow and Patna will settle at 27°C.

Temperature seems to be on the rise in Hyderabad but Bengaluru and Chennai will be cooler with maximum at 31°C.
