Britain, which is enjoying a calm autumn weather is expected to enter into a chilly phase as snow is expected during the weekend.

Temperatures are also likely to flip over the next few days as rain is also foreseen to lash parts of the UK. As per the weatherman, Britain’s weather will turn into a wintry one with possibility of icy cold winds along with possibility of snow will turn the weather conditions across UK upside down.

Overnight temperatures in Scotland and the north will dip to low single figures with lows close to freezing in parts. Alongside, the forecasters also warn Britons to make their weekend plans accordingly as the end of week is going to witness chilly winds, rains and snow may interrupt their weekend plans.

As per the Meteorology Department, the prevailing calm weather conditions can be attributed to the high pressure anchored across the country’s shores.

However, chilly weather conditions across the UK later this week is due to the some chilly easterly and north-easterly winds potentially bringing wintry showers across higher ground in parts of the north.

Moreover, the chilly weather is not going to last for long and weather is going to warm up again later this month. A very topsy-turvy weather pattern will witness a wrangle between cooler and warmer weather taking place across our shores throughout the remainder of this month.

Britain has relished a relatively benevolent period of weather over the past 10 days with temperatures going normal for the year.
