Gladly no funerals happened this time!
Australia is one such country which is known for its unforgiving and ruthless environment. A large part of the country is inhabited because of this particular reason. But it seems that the nature has turned its wrath on the habited areas. Two men from Sydney, Nick Panayiotou and Daniel Dudman had a close shave with nature’s dark side when a lightning struck just a few feet away from where they were standing.
The video posted online shows the men on their boathouse in Sydney’s Oyster Bay on Saturday last week. The guys were filming the storm and the stature of it. And as they were discussing to stall their outing in the bay, zap the lightning struck along with an enormous sound just a few feet away from them.
“Oh My God!” was the only thing the guys could say as the video ended abruptly. According to ABC News, more than 70,000 residents were stripped of power as the storm raided Sydney.
