FeaturedNortheast America is under snow as the winter storm Ursula settles over the region disrupting the lives of millions of Americans.

The storm came in despite having the warmest winter in 15 years.

The National Weather Service of USA warned that Winter Storm Ursula has settled over the Northeastern part of the country, with winds expected to mellow out but cold temperatures to remain freezing. This storm is a part of a series of clipper systems.

As per findings by Monday evening Ursula dumped more than a half-foot of snow in some parts of New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and Rhode Island.

The snowfall has been brutal in Albany, New York, and parts of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

Despite the havoc, this storm has created one of the Northeast's mildest winters on record. West Shokan, New York received eight inches of snow. Woodford, Vermont received seven inches of snow.

The wintry chilly storm Ursula has claimed two lives. A couple was killed on Sunday morning when a tree fell on their car in Abington, Massachusetts.
