February 8, 2017 5:26 PM |

If you have been looking for a city which can take you back and forth in time, there’s no place other than Delhi where you should be. Right from a budget traveler to the one who loves luxuries, the magical city of Delhi has something for everyone.

The capital city of India not only has population more than that of Australia, but as they say, Dilwalon ki Dilli has a heart as big as the number of people. Whether you are a tourist from down south or a wayfarer from oceans apart, Delhi will always welcome you with open arms starting an endless love affair.

Right from the iconic doppelganger of the Parisian Arc de Triomphe in the form of India Gate to the lofty Qutub Minar, Delhi leaves no stone unturned in charming first time visitors. For the religious soul in you, there is always the Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple or the
magnificent Jama Masjid.

Wish to take a historical ride? Explore the Old Fort built by the fearless king Sher Shah Suri. If you have been an ardent lover of the Mughal Architecture, there’s enough in Delhi to keep you occupied, the Red Fort and the Humayun Tomb being two of the most prominent historical monuments of the city.

For the astronomer in you, one of the five Jantar Mantars will be enough to keep you busy for some time. Once you are done taking a tour of these magical monuments, head to the Connaught Place for experiencing the modern-day Delhi.

End your day with a cup of coffee at the Indian Coffee House or a few drinks at one of the many pubs. Fall in love with the charm of Old Delhi and the modernity of South Delhi, in all respects, you won’t be disappointed.
