The low pressure area over south-west Bay of Bengal has become less marked and can be seen as a cyclonic circulation.
With this, we can expect light to moderate rains at many places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu and light rains at a few places over northern parts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai.
The weather over rest of south peninsula will remain dry.
Dry and cold northwesterly winds will continue to blow over north and central parts of the country. We expect marginal drop in both day and night temperatures.
Fog intensity has reduced significantly over northern and eastern plains. We expect the intensity of fog to reduce further, however parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar will continue to witness shallow to moderate fog.
