Weather Forecast for June 27: Increasing Monsoon rains in Mumbai, Goa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh

Monsoon seems to be vigorous along the West Coast. Mumbai is receiving very heavy showers. Seems like very soon the city will cover its monthly rainfall average of 523 mm.

Monsoon will remain active over West Coast particularly Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and Saurashtra. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected at few places over Konkan & Goa. But light to moderate rains are likely over Kerala. The feeble trough along the West Coast is quite active at present.

The low pressure area over South Odisha and North Andhra Coast will give heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, adjoining South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
Monsoon will remain Subdued over interiors of Peninsular India.

East and Northeast rains have reduces significantly. Few good spells are likely over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, foothills of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Scattered light rainfall activities will continue over the Indo Gangetic plains. Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi may get isolated thundershowers with high velocity winds blowing over the region.
No relief is likely from high humidity.

In Central India, many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Rajasthan will get light to moderate thundershowers with isolated heavy spells. Weather of West Rajasthan will remain mainly dry with temperatures above the 40 degree mark at some places.
