Beginning with North India, where a feeble Western Disturbance is over northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. This may give isolated light rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather over northern plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan will remain dry. Day temperatures may increase further. Dry northwesterly winds will continue.
Talking about Central India, where a Cyclonic Circulation is over Vidarbha. A Trough is extending from this system to South Gujarat. Therefore, we expect rain activities to increase over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. A few intense spells are possible over eastern parts of Vidarbha. Isolated pockets of Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh may witness hailstorm activities as well. Meanwhile, North Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, South Rajasthan and Konkan and Goa will remain dry. Temperatures of Mumbai and nearby areas will drop further.
Coming to East and Northeast India, where scattered rains are possible over parts of Odisha and South Jharkhand. Also, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, might get to see light rains at a few places. Weather of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will remain dry.
Talking about South India where a North-South Trough is extending from Vidarbha down South. We expect light rains over northern districts of Telangana and parts of Kerala. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka will remain dry.
