Weather Forecast for Mar 4: Rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Snow in Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand

A Western Disturbance is prevailing over North Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation is over Haryana and adjoining Uttar Pradesh. Both these systems are likely to move northwestwards. In wake of these combined weather systems, rain and snow activity will continue over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. However, the intensity will reduce over Jammu and Kashmir while it will increase over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In fact, rain, thundershower and hailstorm activity may occur at few places over Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, Delhi might also record one or two spells of rain or thunderstorm activity towards late evening.

Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation lies over Assam, and a trough is extending from Sub Himalayan West Bengal to Arunachal Pradesh. Due to these weather systems, rain thundershower is likely at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and at a few places over Assam and isolated pockets of Nagaland. In fact, hailstorm activity might occur in parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Another cyclonic circulation has formed over Jharkhand and adjoining Chhattisgarh. Due to this isolated thundercloud may develop over southwest Jharkhand, adjoining Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The activity is likely to enhance more activity after 24 hours.

In fact, Sub Himalayan West Bengal may also witness rain and thundershower activity in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, weather in Kolkata will remain warm and humid.

Moving to Central India, warm and humid weather will prevail in Marathwada, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, day temperatures are expected to drop over Gujarat, and coastal Maharashtra. Mumbai would witness sultry weather during the afternoon, whereas morning and evening will be pleasant.

Down South, uneasy weather is likely to prevail over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and North Kerala. Meanwhile, isolated rain and thundershower activity may occur in the extreme parts of south of Kerala. Hyderabad will witness very warm and humid weather. Meanwhile, Chennai will witness a humid and warm day with few clouds. Similarly, Bengaluru may also witness a warm day and a comfortable night with few clouds.
