November 12, 2016 7:57 PM |

The western disturbance can be seen over Jammu and Kashmir, while its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab.

With this, isolated snowfall is likely over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, while the remaining parts of state and adjoining areas of Punjab will see some light rains.

Both the systems are likely to clear the region during the next 24 hours and as a result, night temperatures across the northern plains that had witnessed a rise will start falling once again.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Bangladesh and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal bringing isolated light showers over Northeast India.

Down south, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala, while another circulation is over east central Bay of Bengal.

With this, rain intensity will increase over Tamil Nadu including Chennai, while scattered rains will continue over Kerala, Karnataka and isolated parts of Rayalaseema.

Meanwhile Central India will continue with dry weather conditions, with minimum temperatures settling below normal due the cold winds blowing from north.
