Weather Forecast for Nov 23: Rain in South TN, Kerala, Minimum to rise in Telangana

November 22, 2016 7:09 PM |

In North India, the persisting Western Disturbance failed to give any significant weather activity. Now, a fresh Western disturbance is likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir which will bring light showers and snow over some areas of the higher reaches of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

No significant change in day and night temperatures is expected over northwest plains including Delhi-NCR and central parts of the country.

Due to southeasterly winds, minimum temperatures of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra may increase marginally.

A cyclonic circulation is seen near Sri Lanka. Also, a trough is extending from Lakshadweep Islands to Andaman Sea through this cyclonic circulation. With the combined effect of these two systems, scattered rains are expected over South Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Dry weather conditions will prevail over rest of the country.
