Weather Forecast for Nov 28: Rain in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala; Delhi Pollution to increase

The low-pressure area is moving westwards. Thus, intensity of rains over Tamil Nadu will start to decrease but southern districts of Tamil Nadu as well as Kerala will continue to receive good showers. Rains over North Tamil Nadu including Chennai will reduce significantly now but light showers will continue over some parts.

Another cyclonic circulation is developing over Southeast Bay of Bengal which will give light to moderate rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Central, dry weather conditions will continue throughout the region. Weather of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Gujarat and South Madhya Pradesh will remain warm and sunny during the day. Night temperatures in North Rajasthan and many parts of Madhya Pradesh will be on the lower side.

East and Northeast, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Tripura and adjoining areas. Thus, light rains are expected over parts of Northeast India including Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Hills of Arunachal Pradesh may witness isolated rain and snow. Shallow fog and mist is expected over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

North India, dry weather will persist over entire North India as the Western Disturbance has moved away. Shallow fog and mist is expected over Punjab and parts of Haryana.

Talking about the national capital, Smoke haze will persist over Delhi and NCR. Pollution levels are expected to increase further. Thus, marginal rise in minimums over most parts of Northwest Plains including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
