A cyclonic circulation over Haryana and adjoining areas continue to persist. The Monsoon trough is currently passing through South Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and further up to northeastern states. With this, we expect the rain intensity to increase over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and parts of Northeast India.

Delhi will remain dry with partly cloudy sky. Likewise, the weather of Kutch, West Rajasthan and parts of West Haryana will be dry and temperatures are likely to rise over these areas.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will witness light rains with few good showers over Uttarakhand.

Another cyclonic circulation can be seen over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining East Rajasthan. With this, scattered light rains are expected over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh. Parts of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Marathwada may witness light to moderate showers.

Down south, the active off-shore trough will now run across Coastal Karnataka up to Kerala. Therefore, we can expect light to moderate rains over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. However, interiors of South Peninsula may witness scattered light rains.
