March 7, 2019 8:44 PM |

Beginning with North, a feeble Western Disturbance is over northern parts of Pakistan with its induced Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan and adjoining areas. We expect scattered rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir and isolated over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated rains might also occur over North Punjab and West and Northwest Rajasthan.

Weather of Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh would be dry, and minimums might increase by a couple of degrees over most parts of northwest India.

In East, a Cyclonic Circulation is seen over Assam and adjoining areas, now rains would reduce over the northeastern states. However, light rain and snow might occur over Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain is also possible at few places in East Assam.

Weather in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal would be dry. Isolated light rain might occur over coastal parts of Odisha such as Bhubaneswar and Balasore.

Dry weather would continue to prevail over entire Central India. Both day and night temperatures might remain below normal over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and parts of Maharashtra. There might be marginal rise in minimums over South Rajasthan due to the warm southwesterlies blowing from the Bay of Bengal.
