Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other for the first time in IPL 2017. At present, KKR sits on top half of the standings with 4 wins and 2 losses. RCB on the other hand are coming in from a four-day break post their win over the Gujarat Lions. There is no doubt that Kohli led RCB is a crowd favorite but with just two wins from six matches, their position in the tournament is a bit shaky.
RCB players haven’t been able to justify their capability. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson, runs shouldn’t be an issue for RCB but sadly it is. RCB will be hoping to weave a series of wins and they would like to do that from Kolkata.
With two consecutive days of rainfall over Kolkata, rainfall is likely to continue on the third day also. Yesterday’s rainfall activity has helped the temperatures over the City of Joy to drop down a bit. With today’s rainfall temperatures are likely to go below normal.
