A couple of systems have been coming up in the Bay of Bengal off late. The recent system was the first one to form during the Northeast Monsoon season, and intensified into a well marked low pressure area. The system has given heavy rains over parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and has now moved inland.
While the system is expected to remerge in the Arabian Sea, another system will form in the Bay of Bengal soon.
A Cyclonic Circulation is expected to come up over central parts of Bay of Bengal around November 15th. The system is expected to organize further and may become a Low Pressure Area around November 17. There is a possibility of the system even becoming a well marked low, but we will wait and watch for the system to first form.
Thereafter, the weather system will be coming closer to the coast around November 18-19th. Weather activity to come up over coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
