Moderate rains have been seen over Bhagalpur, Chhapra, accompanied with stormy weather conditions accompanied with lightning and thunderstorm as well as gusty winds. Forbesganj saw record rains, over 500 mm in two days, which amounts to a deluge capable of causing flood like situation locally.

Now, during the next three days, Bihar will see more rains and heavy showers will remain confined to the northern parts as compared to the southern parts. However, the entire state will see good Monsoon showers.

Residents need to exercise caution on account of lightning, which has already taken lives in the last few days. There is possibility of some localised inundation in some areas. There will be a little break after three days, but soon due to the formation of Monsoon system, more rains may make appearance.
