Cyclone Nadais currently brewing in the Southwest Bay of Bengal. The system is expected to give heavy to very heavy rains over many parts of Tamil Nadu. In fact, the capital city,Chennaiis also expected to receive good showers in the coming days.

While the rains are light currently, the intensity of these showers will continue to increase as we move towards the later part of the day. Not only this, the capital city is expected to receive moderate to heavy rains with isolated heavy showers during the next 24 to 48 hours.
