Parts of the states of Uttar Pradesh as well as Bihar have been witnessing cold day conditions with maximums well below the normal levels. Moreover, temperatures are at least 7 to 10 degrees below the normal levels. Even the minimum temperatures in some parts are 4-5 degrees below normal in the state of Bihar.
Talking about the state of Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperatures have been settling below 16 degrees, Gorakhpur 12 degrees, Bahraich 11.4 degrees, Bareilly 10.6 degrees, Fursatganj 12.4 degrees.
For Bihar, Bhagalpur recorded 15.4 degrees Celsius, Forbesganj 12.4 degrees, Motihari 11.5 degrees, Patna 16 degrees, Supaul 11.8 degrees.
Now, the temperatures are expected to be similar during the next 24 hours but may not dip further due to the Western Disturbance in the hills of North India. However, significant improvement may not be seen but cold day conditions
