Severe Cyclonic Storm Titli is presently moving in north/northwest direction towards South Odisha Coast. Due to this, heavy rains have already commenced over many parts of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal.
Further also, intensity of these rains will also keep on increasing, as this cyclone will move closer to the coast.
After making landfall over North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coast, the cyclone will move in north direction.
Thereafter, it will recurve in northeast direction towards Northeast India. Therefore, light to moderate rains will occur over Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura and Nagaland on October 11.
Intensity of rains will further increase on October 12 and moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are possible. Mizoram and Tripura will receive more intensified rains. However, only light to moderate rains will be witnessed over rest all other northeastern states.
