As per the latest weather report,Cyclone Vardahis approximately 50 km east-northeast ofChennaiand is inching closer toTamil Nadu. The cyclone is expected to make a landfall in any hour now particularly over the coastal regions including Chennai, heavy to extremely heavy rains are expected to lash the city.

We can see cloud build up overAndhra Pradeshand Tamil Nadu. There is the possibility of rain over cities likeNellore, Vellore,Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Puducherry andTirupathi.
