National capital is likely to have another round of rain and thundershowers. Month of March had started with light rain and is expected to finish on wet note. Partly cloudy sky with light to moderate showers, at times fleeting ones, are likely between 29th March and 01st Apr.
Light rain is likely late tonight and wee hours of tomorrow. Cloudy sky will persist tomorrow and day after, with intermittent spells of light rain and thundershowers. Few strong showers are expected on 31st Mar with an outside chance of hailstorm in limited pockets during late hours of the day. The remnant of the system may leave a stray shower on 01st April as well.
Western disturbance is approaching Western Himalayas today. Induced cyclonic circulation is moving across the border to land up over West Rajasthan. Both the systems will act in tandem to start the weather activity over Rajasthan and shifting eastward. An upper air trough is getting placed favourably behind the axis of these systems. This is the one, likely to trigger tall thunderclouds, lightening, gusty winds and hailstorm.
Day temperatures had earlier slided to mid 20's in the 3rd week. In the absence of any weather activity over the last 4 days, mercury has risen to catch up with the normal of 32degree yesterday. Similar grade is expected today as well and a plunge thereafter. Maximum temperature will drop by about 4-5degree to touch 27-28degree, around last day of the month.
Capital city has already exceeded the normal rainfall of 19.1mm for the month. Tonight and tomorrow, rainfall is expected to be light, adding only a fraction to the total. Moderate showers are more likely 0n 31st Mar and the rainfall amount will be counted against 01st April.
Weather conditions are going to be pleasant, once again for Delhi and suburbs. Temperatures will remain under check. Clearance of weather is likely on 02nd April but may find clouds and light rain on 03rd and 04th April, as well.
