Pleasant-weather-in-DelhiDelhi and the NCR region has been observing hot weather conditions for the past few days. While heatwave has remained abated from the region for a long time, the national capital continues to be as hot as it could be.

As far as the temperatures are concerned, the maximum temperature is very close to the 40-degree mark. The maximum is currently settling at 38.6 degrees at the Safdarjung observatory. The Palam observatory is recording the maximum at 39.8 degrees, touching the 40-degree mark.

However, rain gods have decided to be kind enough to the residents of the national capital. Currently, an induced cyclonic circulation from the prevailing Western Disturbance over Western Himalayas is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan region.

Due to this weather system, Pre-Monsoon activity has begun over the national capital and its adjoining NCR region. During the next few hours, Delhi as well as adjoining areas of Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad are expected to witness a few spells of dust storm activity along with thunderstorm and light rain.
