Delhi sees maximum above normal first time this season, more rise expected

Yesterday, Delhi for the first time this season recorded above normal maximums at 36.8 degrees Celsius. For a month and a half, temperatures were running below normal. In fact, maximum temperatures were even below normal by 6 to 7° on several occasions. Rainfall activity was also common over these areas.

However, dry weather has been prevailing over Delhi NCR for a few days now and in the next few days also we do not foresee any good rainfall activity upcoming. Yesterday the highest maximum was recorded at Najafgarh and Pitampura at 38.8°C, which is two . Meanwhile, Lodhi Road, Safdarjung as well as Palam observatory recorded the same temperature at 36.8°C.

For the next three to four days, temperatures will continue to be above normal levels and may even touch 40°C by the weekend. There could be very little rain, amounting to a few drops only and not even measurable. Temperatures may see an arrest after April 15.
