Delhi to Witness Scattered Rain in Early March.

While Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) fell short of their winter rain quota in November and December, February has brought some relief. As of February 27, the region has received 33.2 mm of rain, exceeding the monthly average of 21.5 mm. Even today, isolated light rain has been observed, with skies expected to clear by tomorrow.

However, residents can expect another round of scattered rain between March 1 and 2. This is due to an active Western Disturbance impacting the Western Himalayas from February 29 to March 3. This system will bring rain and thunderstorms not only to Delhi and NCR, but also to parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

These weather activities are likely to bring a welcome respite from the rising temperatures, offering some cool and comfortable days. Additionally, moderate winds are forecast for March 1 and 2, and some areas in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana might even experience hailstorms. Looking ahead, no significant weather events are expected in Delhi NCR for at least the next week.
