Dry weather ahead for North Indian plains, pleasant days and chilly nights expected

December 1, 2022 11:00 AM |

Western disturbances have been far and few for the western Himalayas in the last few days. Due to this, dry weather conditions continue to be observed over the North Indian plains. Minimum temperatures continued to witness a drop and have been reported in single digits over many parts of Northwest India.

Northwest India will continue with its dry weather spell for the next ten days at least. This is because presently there are no active Western Disturbances and there isn’t any strong one likely in the next one week or so. Cold winds from snow clad mountains will continue to blow over the North Indian Plains.

Minimums are expected to be below normal and some parts may even see minimum temperatures going below 5 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, due to clear skies and bright sunshine, day temperatures may see a rise and settle in the mid 20s.
