November 29, 2023 1:43 PM |

A fresh Western Disturbance is over the Western Himalayan region. It will start affecting today and its effect will remain until December 1. A feeble Cyclonic Circulation is over the plains of northern parts of Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab. The combination of weather systems will give weather over the hills as well as the plains.

Thus, we can expect rain and isolated snow over the mountains until the 1st. The weather activities will be more over Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh as compared to the other parts.

For the plains, light rains are expected over parts of Punjab, Haryana and even extending up to Delhi. These conditions may be seen over the cities of Karnal, Ambala, Rohtak, Hisar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana, and Ferozepur.

Rain activity will reduce from the plains on the 1st itself. For the hills, 3rd onward, conditions will improve. After the improvement, a temperature dip will be there. Fog in patches might be seen in the wake of the system, especially in Punjab and Haryana.

The clearance will last for about a week or so. During this period, minimums will drop but they won't be significantly below and hover around 9 and 11 degrees.
