A Fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach around March 12 late night hours. The system will be affecting the weather over the hills around March 13 and 14. The hills have generally had a break in terms of rain and snow with the region not having observed any weather in the past couple of days and similar situation is likely to prevail for another two days. Thereafter, weather activities may be observed over the regions.
Areas of Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Dalhousie, Dharamsala, Manali, Shimla, Joshimath, Nainital, Mussoorie will be seeing weather activities on March 13 and 14. Snow may be seen in the upper regions. Thereafter, there will be clearance in most parts.
However, the remnants of the system will still be affecting parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand around March 15 and 16, and even parts of March 17.
