At this very moment, the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh is rainfall surplus by 20%, whereas rainfall was normal for the region of Telangana. Telangana is enjoying normal rainfall of 13%. But all these numbers are likely to change as good Monsoon rains are on the cards for the region.
The axis of Monsoon trough is moving close to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh coast to East-central Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is over Chhattisgarh has caused good rain over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the last few days.
However the intensity of rain is expected to reduce over coastal parts from next 24 hours. This can be attributed to the movement of Monsoon trough to north and the similar can be said for the cyclonic circulation that will westwards to West Madhya Pradesh.
However despite that light rain will continue with one or two moderate spell of rain over coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Telangana.
