Heat wave is far away from many parts of the country however the heat pocket has now shifted to the southern part. States of Telangana as well as Andhra Pradesh. However, No heatwave is being seen but the hottest pockets do remain to be in these areas.
Moreover, parts of West Rajasthan are also observing higher temperatures as compared to its other counterparts including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. However, even maximums in West Rajasthan are not amounting to heat wave.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature at Vijayawada settled at 43.6 degrees, Machhilipatnam at 43 degrees, Rentachintala 42 degrees, Adilabad 41 degrees, Nalgonda 42 degrees, Ramagundam 41.6 degrees.
Sometimes, heat sometimes acts as a trigger and coastal areas where moisture is available, they do result in some inclement weather activity. Two ingredients are required for rains one is moisture and the other heat, and coastal areas have the privilege of having both these features. Similarly, Narsapur recorded 104 mm, and Visakhapatnam saw 114 mm but this is a one odd incident. However, such incident is not likely to be repeated.
