After a long time, heatwave conditions have completely abated the entire country. Pre monsoon activities in various parts of the country due to several weather systems that have been affecting each part has resulted in the abatement of heat wave conditions from India as of now.
East India including Bihar, Jharkhand, isolated pockets of West Bengal as well as some areas of Odisha have been witnessing Pre Monsoon activities, which has resulted in abatement of heat wave conditions. Northeast India has as it is been reeling under flooding conditions and temperatures have remained well below the normal levels.
South India has also been continuously witnessing some rainfall activities due to which temperatures across the region have remained below the normal levels.
Talking about North and Central India, this was the only region reeling under heat wave conditions. However, with intense Pre Monsoon activities lashing the entire North India. Thus, the heat content has been removed and temperatures are settling well below the normal levels. Spillover effect has been seen over central parts with maximums and minimums dropping to quite an extent.
Thus, heat wave will continue to be far away for at least the next few days or so. Moreover, for the next 3-4 days, one can expect maximums and minimums to settle below normal.
