Monsoon rains have vacated from the northern parts of the country including the state of Punjab and Haryana.
However, the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will continue to see Monsoon rains. Moreover, in the Indo-Gangetic Plains, these rainfall activities are likely to extend up to Bihar as well. Moreover, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim may also see some showers.
This is in association with the Monsoon trough being active and its oscillation. Western Disturbance has moved away now. The trough is north of its normal position thus, the foothills may see some heavy showers as well.
For the next three to four days, these regions are expected to see some good rainfall activities with a few regions seeing some heavy showers as well.
