The low pressure area which resulted in a lot of rains over Central India is now over north western parts of Madhya Pradesh region. The system may not go beyond this region but is expected to persist over the Northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Southwest Uttar Pradesh for the next 24 hours.
Circulation will move along the foothills, remaining over Uttar Pradesh. Good rains are expected over Uttar Pradesh, later shifting, covering parts of Bihar as well. The implication of this system will be that the trough which was extending from this system up to West Bengal will gradually shift to the foothills.
Rains will remain confined to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and these conditions will continue. However, Monsoon may go weak for the next three days as the trough will move.
