The city of Lucknow saw some good rainfall activities. In fact, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh recorded a whopping 94 mm of rains the day before, on September 11.
The last 4-5 days saw some moderate rains during the evening and night hours which at times also spilled over to morning hours. Thus, so far Lucknow has recorded 192.5 mm of rains against the normal of 162 mm.
The Cyclonic Circulation is over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh region, which is a slow moving system. A fresh system is also coming up. Also, the Monsoon trough will remain active passing through this region. Thus, rains may continue over Lucknow for at least the next 4-5 days.
