Winters are over for the country and the Spring season is almost here. It is always an exciting time of the year. At the same time, the season also brings along multiple health risks.

1. Headaches:
With rising maximums, ample sunshine is the indication of the coming of spring. Most people suffer from severe headaches during this time. And the reason being is switching on of the air conditioners. When we start feeling hot or warm, we switch on the AC. It should be stopped right there because the temperature inside and outside is inevitably going to lead to headaches. Beware, these machines are made to be used during Summers and not in the Spring season.
2. Nasal and chest congestion:
We see major fluctuation between temperatures, in many parts of the country during this season. Well, the fluctuation between temperatures can also fluctuate our body being sweaty or too chilly sometimes. Due to this, stuffy nose, chest congestion, and cough can easily plague you.
3. Common Cold:
Usually, people think that a common cold can be seen only during Winters. Well, that's not true. You can get a cold anytime. Let it be Spring, Summers or Monsoon.
Influenza viruses peak in Winters, while rhinovirus (viral infectious agent in humans) causes Cold in the Spring. It can also spread to others easily. To stay away from such infections, get plenty of sleep, eat a well-balanced diet, exercise and keep stress under control.
4. Allergies:
Spring means flower buds and blooming trees. If you are one of the millions of people who have seasonal allergies, then the season can make you even miserable. It's better to take regular showers and rinse off pollen from your hair and skin. Also, wear a pollen mask if you do outside chores.
