Cyclone Michaung has started the landfall process and will be completed soon. The storm has given intense rains over coastal parts of Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Today, some rains will continue over these areas.
Now, the storm after moving northward for some time will recurve northeastward towards Telangana, resulting in rain over the region. In fact, light rains have been seen over some parts during the last 24 hours, including Bhadrachalam at 15.4 mm, Nalgonda at 2.4 mm, and Hyderabad at 3.2 mm,
Today, we can expect some good rains over eastern Telangana, including Mahabubabad, Bhadrachalam, Khammam, etc. Moreover, even the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad may see rains but it will not be as intense.
Tomorrow, the rainfall intensity will reduce as the system will move further towards Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
