As per Skymet Weather, we can expect light to moderate showers, with one or two heavy spells to continue over the eastern chunk of Rajasthan including places like Kota, Alwar, Ajmer and Jaipur during the next 24 hours.

During the same time period, the western districts of the state such as Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jodhpur would too see rain showers of light intensity.

Already the rains have brought the day temperatures down; hence we expect most of East Rajasthan to witness maximum temperatures in lower 30s. Likewise, the western chunk of the state would have day temperatures in mid 30s.

In a nutshell, days will be comfortable, while nights would be pleasant. The sky is most expected to remain cloudy to partly cloudy.

As on June 26, West Rajasthan is rain deficient by 45%, while East Rajasthan by 15%. We are expecting the rain deficiency to ease over East Rajasthan during the next two to three days, reaching near the normal. In fact, these showers will also improve the rain deficit over West Rajasthan to a great extent.
