The city of Mumbai since the beginning of July has been seeing decent rains however, the heavier showers have not mainly been there. During the last 24 hours also, Mumbai's Santa Cruz observatory recorded 20 mm of moderate rains, taking this month's total to 198 mm.
Now, also we do expect the city to continue seeing rains of varied intensity which will furthermore increase during the second half of the week. So much so that heavy rains will also be seen then.
Therefore, Mumbai rains will continue to be moderate in nature today and tomorrow. Heavy rains are expected between July 6 and 7, which will increase the rainfall figures. There is a possibility of three digit rains also during that time.
