Mumbai rains to remain light, nothing significant likely

September 23, 2022 11:15 AM |

Mumbai has been witnessing mild weather conditions as per the Monsoon standards over the commercial capital of the country. The capital city of Maharashtra has been seeing rains in single digit only and nothing significant has been seen.

As far as the temperatures are concerned, maximums around September 13 were in their 30s. Last 24 hours, the maximums were in their 20s. Today's maximum has been at 22.4 degrees. These drop in temperatures is a little early for Mumbai.

Talking about the weather forecast for Mumbai, for the next one week, the city of Mumbai is expected to see mostly light rainfall with no heavy rains in sight for the city. Single digit rains will be seen in the city on most occasions with some double digit rainfall in between.

The month of September has already surpassed the monthly mean to quite an extent which means Mumbai does not need to worry about good rains making an appearance for this month at least.

Monsoon does not withdraw from Mumbai in September and the normal date of withdrawal for Mumbai stands at October 10. If Monsoon will bid adieu to Mumbai on its due date will only be clear after its withdrawal from other posts.
